Utrecht's agricultural identity is evolving! We are noticing an increase in the number of local products in restaurants and shops. Urban farmers are taking over the municipality's plant gardens and food collectives are being organized. There is a growing movement against the current industrial food industry. Koningshof stimulates this counter-movement and likes to contribute by raising food awareness and provoking discussions. How can we influence awareness about 'good food' and the way we eat? To investigate this, Koningshof offers various activities, such as workshops, Koningshof "veggies with roots", excursions, markets, events, film evenings and debate.

Koningshof wants to preserve and strengthen Utrecht's agricultural identity. It is located in an area with a lot of gardening history, in the fields of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, in the Kromme Rijngebied on the border of Utrecht East.
